As summer winds down, Hamilton Stern continues to build momentum on and off the jobsite. August brought opportunities to welcome new talent, celebrate project milestones, and spend time together as a team. Each of these moments reflects what makes Hamilton Stern successful. As we look back on August, we’re grateful for the employees, clients, and project partners who continue to make these accomplishments possible.
Welcome to the Team
We are excited to welcome Hannah Mullin to Hamilton Stern Construction as our new staff accountant. Hannah joined the team in early August and has experience in office administration and property management. In her new role, she will support our accounting operations and help keep the financial side of our projects running smoothly.
As Hannah settles into her new position, she is looking forward to expanding her knowledge of the construction industry and gaining a deeper understanding of the many moving parts involved in project delivery.
We’re excited to have Hannah on board and look forward to seeing her grow with our team.

EMHCS Ribbon Cutting
This August marked a significant milestone for the Eugenio María de Hostos Charter School, as the school officially opened its doors for the 2026-27 academic year. After nearly two years of construction, students, faculty, staff, and community members gathered to celebrate the completion of a transformational project that will serve generations of learners to come.
Hamilton Stern Construction was proud to serve as construction manager on this project alongside SWBR, Herrick-Saylor Engineers, and M/E Engineering. Together, the team worked toward a shared goal of creating a modern educational environment that supports student success while honoring the history of the site.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the completion of a building, but it also marked the beginning of a new chapter for the school and the students it serves. We are honored to have played a role in bringing that vision to life and look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have for years to come.

Coming Soon: A Closer Look at the Project
While the ribbon has been cut, the story behind the project is far from over.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing a special project spotlight video that takes viewers behind the scenes of the Eugenio María de Hostos Charter School project. The video will highlight the collaboration, planning, and problem-solving that helped move the project from concept to completion.
Viewers will get an inside look at the construction process and hear more about the project’s impact on students, faculty, and the surrounding community. It will also showcase how teamwork between the owner, design team, and construction partners helped bring a large-scale project to life.
Be sure to follow Hamilton Stern on social media for updates and the official release of the video.

2026 Beasts of the Green Golf Tournament
Hamilton Stern employees gathered for our third Annual Golf Tournament, what’s become one of our favorite company traditions. The event gave our team members an opportunity to step away from their daily responsibilities, enjoy time together, and build relationships outside of the office and field.
Of course, there was no shortage of competition throughout the day.
The course was filled with laughs, creative challenges, and plenty of memorable moments. Participants encountered exploding golf balls, flamingo-themed contests, piñatas, and more.

A big congratulations goes out to this year’s winning team:
- Nick DiMeo
- Steven Hickey
- Justin Leonard
- Jordan Napierala

Their strong play earned them the title of 2026 HSC Beasts of the Green.
As we begin the final quarter of 2026, we’re grateful for the momentum we’ve built and excited for what’s ahead. We look forward to advancing our projects, strengthening relationships, and continuing to deliver exceptional results.
