Hamilton Stern Construction Builds for Habitat for Humanity
In celebration of Hamilton Stern Construction’s 15th anniversary, the company is on a mission to give back to the community that has served it so well since its inception. To achieve this, the firm set out to complete 15 days of volunteering, one day for every year of the company’s success. Having already completed 10 days, including volunteering at the YWCA and organizing collection drives for the Salvation Army and Seneca Park Zoo, the firm is well on their way to surpassing their goal.
The latest volunteer day brought Hamilton Stern Construction into the city of Rochester, where employees put their honed construction skills to work for the Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity. Making great progress on the pre-existing base of what will be a single-family home, Hamilton Stern Construction’s volunteer team finished the structure’s subflooring and erected two full walls, among other smaller tasks. The site coordinator from Habitat for Humanity described the team as “one of the best groups I have ever worked with.”
