The AGC’s Jeffery J. Zogg Build New York Award-Lavery Library Project
We are proud to share that we received the Associated General Contractors 2025 Build NY Award for the renovation and modernization of the Charles J. Lavery Library at St. John Fisher University. The award recognizes the construction team that contributes to a project’s success. Award winners represent the best construction projects across the state, and we are honored to be among the top in New York.

Jason Van Zeilen, president of Hamilton Stern, has been named a 2025 Leaders in Construction & Real Estate honoree. This recognition celebrates individuals and companies transforming the Rochester region’s landscape through design, construction, project management, and innovation. With an impressive 35-year career, Jason has been instrumental in managing commercial, healthcare, retail, and mixed-use projects, along with market-rate and affordable housing initiatives. Congratulations to Chuck Armbruster, who retired as Vice President from Hamilton Stern Construction in April, on receiving this prestigious award.
