Michelsen Building
Hamilton Stern led the urban renewal renovation of this existing historic industrial building in downtown Rochester, New York. It was converted into 40 affordable, multi-family apartments totaling 50,000 sq. ft. The project was funded by the City of Rochester, NYSHFA, and Federal Historical Tax Credits. Hamilton Stern worked with subcontractor partners to design and build the mechanical systems for the $7.5 MM project.
