The first week of March marks Women in Construction Week, an annual celebration founded by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). This week highlights and honors the many contributions women make to the construction industry while encouraging the next generation to explore careers in the field. This year’s theme, “Level Up, Build Strong,” recognizes the strength, leadership, and innovation women bring to construction every day.

Jenn McGrath – Project Administrator
Jenn McGrath has been part of the Hamilton Stern Construction team for nearly three years. From her very first day, she has been passionate about one of the most important aspects of the construction industry: safety. “It may stem from being a volunteer firefighter and seeing injuries that could have been so easily avoided,” Jenn shares. Her perspective and dedication reinforce a core value at Hamilton Stern Construction—safety is always our top priority. We are grateful to have team members like Jenn who are committed to helping foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and innovation.
Maggie Vu – Assistant Project Manager
Assistant Project Manager Maggie Vu has been with Hamilton Stern Construction for just over a year and enjoys seeing projects come to life. “I love getting to watch months of planning, coordination, and problem-solving turn into something real—a finished space people use every day—and that’s something to be proud of,” Maggie says. For Maggie and the rest of our team, seeing the final result makes every project special.
Molly Kieffer – Project Administrator
For Project Administrator Molly Kieffer, who has been with Hamilton Stern Construction for two years, the most rewarding part of the work is seeing the impact projects have on the community. “Seeing how my day-to-day work impacts our community is incredibly rewarding,” Molly explains. “It’s amazing to see projects I’ve worked on become new buildings or spaces for our neighbors.” Construction helps turn ideas into places where people gather, learn, and work. Knowing that our projects help shape the communities around us is something our entire team takes pride in.
